Bright Children Montessori Academy, in Alhambra, CA provides early child education to preschool students ages 2 to 6. The name Bright Children Montessori Academy was chosen to symbolize the opportunity we have to make our children bright and successful in life, since very early age!

Bright Children Montessori Academy’s mission is to provide a dynamic, independent learning environment that is hands-on and student-driven. Children develop inner-discipline, a love of learning, and learn at their own pace guided by the Montessori technique, which promotes individual initiative and creativity.

Maria Montessori was an Italian physician, educator, and innovator, acclaimed for her educational method that builds on the way children naturally learn through their senses. Her clinical observations led her to analyze how children learn, and she concluded that they build themselves from what they find in their environment.

She opened the first Montessori school—the Casa dei Bambini, or Children’s House—in Rome on January 6, 1907. Subsequently, she traveled the world and wrote extensively about her approach to education, attracting many devotees. There are now more than 22,000 Montessori schools in at least 110 countries worldwide.
